Is Downation 100% free to use?
Yes. Downation has no listing fees, claim fees, or hidden subscription costs. Giving and receiving among neighbours is strictly zero-cost.
Where can I download the mobile app?
Downation is available for testing on Apple TestFlight and Android. Visit our homepage to download the release APK or request iOS beta access.
How do meetups and handovers work?
Once a giveaway claim is accepted, both giver and receiver can chat securely in the app and choose their preferred handover mode: meet face-to-face using an instant QR scan or 6-digit code fallback, or choose remote contactless drop-off at a guardhouse or porch with 1-tap Google Maps navigation and photo confirmation.
How do I delete my account and data?
You can delete your account directly inside the app settings, or email [email protected] with the subject "Data Deletion Request". All active listings and identifiers are removed within 14 days.
